A Musical Heart

Chocolate and Cherries Musical Heart Cake!  It was a yummy surprise for my husband.  

Here is the recipe:

In a medium bowl mix the following:

1 and 1/4 C. 100% whole wheat flour

1 C. sugar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/3 to 1/2 C. Baking Cocoa (you decide how chocolately you want it!)

Mix in:

1 C. very warm water

1/3 C. canola oil

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. vinegar (any kind)

Pour in greased cake pan of choice.  ( I generously spray with cooking spray).  Bake in 350 degree pre-heated oven for 30 minutes.  Cool.  Carefully remove from pan.  Frost and or decorate.
